Legend has it, that the frail Princess Owatonna, drank from a mineral spring (called Minnewauan)—and was miraculously restored to health:
This is–apocryphally–how Owatonna, got its name. (More likely, the name comes from the sound of Dakota, for the Straight River. . . .) Regardless, it makes for a nice story.

It took me a long time—but I finally found the spring:
I didn't even know, if the water was even safe to drink—and figured there was only really one way, to find out. ;) :)
After a few minutes, I did feel different (differently?). So—who knows? The jury is still out.
