On 1/18/18 Thursday, we were able to achieve something, I consider, remarkable.
For over 4 & 1/2 years, here and there, off and on–under unimaginable conditions–I have tried to finish an Al Agnew puzzle. I had probably managed, to get about half the pieces assembled.
Then, one day, my landlady agreed, to have us work on it, on the table, downstairs. She also insisted, on taking the pieces apart, and to the last one. Ladies, gentlemen, and various trans-gendered beings, that . . . almost . . . hurt.
However, over the next couple of days, progress ensued. I remember at one point, when I had put a largish amount, of the "large wolves" together—when I actually began to realize, that this might very well happen. . . .
The puzzle was very difficult—not only were the "tones" difficult, but many pieces, fit in different places. . . .
Finally, I was completely convinced, that we had gotten it right:
Wow.
Although I had taken every possible care, I was downright surprised, at the end, when all the pieces were still there. . . . Take a look at the box; one can see, some of the abuse, it has taken, over the years. . . .
Like I said, I consider this, a remarkable achievement.
