I really liked this one.  -I don't know about the rest of the country, but in Alaska, there was an absolutely unprecedented amount of political protesting---against Bush, the war in Iraq, etc.  (There is one that will stick with me all the days of my life: "Is it Vietnam yet?" ( :( )) As I said: I really liked this one---it was a dog, with a placard on either side, stating, "Dogs for Democracy." :)

The picture didn't some out too well, though. . . .

[The next one is rather] Hard to read: "WTF."

I seemed to make the driver a little . . . uncomfortable, by taking the above one [pic]. . . .

Unfortunately, I really caught quite a bit of the flash in the following one.  It is a positively wonderful picture of wolves---originally taken by Art Wolfe.  (He's a major "nature photography dude.") I was taken in ("Don't mind me---I just really like this picture.  :) (What I said to the peeps in the table next to me as I took this one.  :) )). . . .

. . . "The Northernmost Dennys in the World." :)

-Yet again, try not to mind the (quite ubiquitous) "Alaskan spelling." :) :P

This next one was taken at a friend of mine's house---out on Chena Hot Springs road.  The view is out of his living room window.  -If you look carefully, one can just see a bird-dude.  It was a quail, I believe. . . .

On to more Alaska pics.
