Here are some GOOD pictures of the Colorado mine fire.  They were taken by Karen Remick.  They I have left them here, in their "unadulterated form"--as they ROCK! :) Someday, I just have to get a better camera. . . .

   Apparently, this little subterranean conflagration started a pretty serious wild fire.  :O Also, I thought it a . . . "rather strange talent" (for lack of a . . . better thing to call it) that I was able to catch just a slight, stray wiff of smoke--and was immediately able to tell in was a bituminous fire! Fire!! FIRE!!!! Um, sorry about that.  :) -Like I said--a rather strange talent. . . .
