After I had been at the conference a few days, I really needed a break.  So, for no particularly good reason, I decided to climb to 12,055 ft.  Here is a reservoir I saw along the way:



   I think I would've made it all the way to the top--but a lightning storm came up.  When I could physically _feel_ a charge built up on my watch--and all the hairs on the back of my hand kept promptly standing up, after being brushed down--I figured it would be a good thing, if I climbed back down.  Of note, this was the first time I was able to make my legs "sore" in over fifteen years--as they were being forced to function "anaerobically."
