I *FINALLY* got some good shots of Denali/Mt. McKinley.

The size of this mountain, quite literally, defies description.  On clear days, it can be seen from Fairbanks--over 150 miles away! Imagine, for a moment, a mountain SOO LARGE--that if one were south of Williamsport, Pennsylvania, one could see a mountain in Rochester, New York.  (!!!!)

In the next two pictures, one can clearly see the route I was planning to take climbing the mountain (I never did get to make the trip.  :( )--the West Buttress Route.

   Bye-bye, Denali:

Fly on.
