you did forget about "ZORK" ... check it out. Retro is almost like the old days.

Um . . . huh?

. . . Have you considered a career as a movie critic?

That was a most well-thought out list. Very impressive

I finally read your top 10 movies of all time.  I'm really impressed with the amount of thought and effort that went into the list.  You definitely know more about classic movies than me at this point; I guess I have some remedial viewing to do.

I do have a few quibbles about your site.  You misspelled Citizen Kane.

D'oh!

Also, I'm somewhat surprised you didn't even mention Zardoz.

Um. . . . I'm not.

But don't worry, overall I really enjoyed the web page.

:) :)

Unfortunately, I can only really comment on three (Blade Runner, Adolescence of Utena and Barton Fink) of your top ten, since they're the only ones I've seen.

I definitely agree that Blade Runner should be on the top ten list.  It's got so many great individual scenes, practically every frame is riveting.  The best of many great scenes is of course Roy Batty's death scene.  I couldn't agree more about the awesome Vangelis score, too.  Then there's the larger themes about what it means to be human.  Yeah, it's definitely a great one.

I'm not sure what to think of Adolescence of Utena. –I remember watching this, but not really understanding it. –It was weird and definitely interesting, but I obviously didn't get what you got out of it. –I'll have to give it another look and pay closer attention this time.

I saw Barton Fink years ago and I remember not liking it a whole lot, but, again, I'll have to give it another, closer viewing. –I admire your independence in picking Barton Fink over the bigger film Fargo (which is my favorite Coen Brothers film).

Fargo is, a fantastic film (I didn't know—until just now–that it had been nominated for the Palme d'Or.  (In retrospect, I'm not all that surprised.  :) ;) ))—however, I don't believe it is even in the same class as Barton Fink.

I feel kind of bad that after you put so much thought and effort into it that I can't offer you better feedback.
