So there I was, first day of Necronomicon 2019. I had made sort of a "test trip"—to make certain, everything (travel-wise) was okay. (I have . . . industrial-strength problems, with "new" places. (. . .)) I was alone. I was sitting there, helpless in my level of autism—unable to navigate, either the program, or Providence.
That made me angry. I decided–then and there–NOT to be helpless. So, over the course of tens of minutes, I broke things down. . . . ONE piece at a time. . . . Calm. . . .
First, movies. Second, travel (map). Somewhat miraculously, I was able to navigate myself, to the library. This was . . . quite nostalgic for me. I had very fond (and very strong) memories, of the library. Being here again–where I might never have been again, or even know where that was–was a great . . . vindication, and comfort, to me (one that I never knew I'd ever get to feel, 'n stuff).
I am SOO glad I did. (!! (!!)) For, in so doing, I got to see, one of the most amazing films, I have ever seen (and may well never have known about, otherwise) :
And (across the street), I was to "re-find" one of the coolest bars . . . ever.
:) :) :) :)
(Note: It is now October 21st, 2019—and I come to doubt, if this is the bar I thought it was. . . . Oh well—I'll just have to check—in 2021. (!!) ( :) ;) ))
The Hotel Biltmore. I took this picture—because I am positively OBSESSED with my '78 CORDOBA!! (!!) (She's a 318.)
:) :) :) :)
On the way out [of Providence], and ad for . . . ponies. Why is it–wherever I go–I can't seem to escape. . . .
Ponies.
:p :p :P :P
And thus ended, day one.
On to day two. . . .
Back to Necronomicon 2017 main.
