7/13/05 "I've just used more glue than I have in my entire life." :)

      :)

7/14/05 Moose on the way to the dump.  For the looks in its eyes, you can be sure that HAARP is on.

      ;)

7/14/05 This has to be an exclusively Alaskan phenomenon---a truck body, upside down--in a dumpster:

7/14/05 As I stated earlier, we most certainly watched the show throughout construction:

I believe this was the one where he baked a fish in the dishwasher.  :)

7/15/05 I honestly thought I was drilling straight.  These two blocks, folded on top of each other and bolted together, served as the pedals for turning the paddle wheels---at least they were intended for such, before my inadvertent mistreatment of them.  :P :)

7/16/05 The crankshafts didn't quite fit into the precision bearings, and thus required . . . some filing.  -A look at the paltry amount of filings left behind---all done by hand, of course:

7/18/05 Sometimes I just don't know my own strength---a bolt, sheared off by accident:

7/18/05 The Main Wheel. The reason that we have no less that three people counter-balancing this beggar, is because it weighs somewhere in the neighborhood of 400 lbs. . . .  (!!)

On to more pics of the "main construction."
