That lit up Christmas eve.

Was out front in Santa's pack,

Until he had to leave. (old age?)

Rosie has a red eye,

But I don't think it glows,

Don't think she leads a dogsled,

But, then again, who knows?

Now Wait!  You see? Please look again!

That red eye's now turned green!

Is red for stop and green for go?

Due to something that she's seen?

Well, my, my, my -- they've changed again!

Now both eyes look quite yellow!

A sign of caution -- makes GOOD SENSE,

'Cause Rosie's not that mellow!

John loves her and she loves John,

But others, cautious be,

For Rosie's got a cutie smile,

With real sharp teeth, you see!

I'd hate to hear she used them

Besides to chew her food,

Here's hoping none of us will be

Her next meal -- oh, how rude!
