   I would've climbed the rest of the way--had I been about 5 years younger.  (Or maybe with sneakers that didn't feel like they were about to fall apart on level ground.  :) )

   Finger Rock is famous for its unusual appearance--and for the fact that it was frequently used by bush pilot prior to the "age of instrumentation." It points directly to Fairbanks, oddly enough.)
