Atigun Pass
We crossed up and over Atigun Pass in mid-July. The temperature was 30 degrees Fahrenheit (-1 Celsius), and there was a constant wind--varying from about 25 to 40 miles per hour. This made for a wind-chill factor of about 0 (Fahrenheit). You would think that this would bother two Alaskans, dressed only in light windbreakers and jeans--but perhaps they are a different breed. :)

Are you ready for this?
We knew that this might happen--but didn't believe that we would be able to get a chance to see it--*SNOW*--in July, at (at best) 600 feet above see level.
. . . And it just fell harder:
Eventually, the snow built up to white-out conditions, started to accumulate, and made us wonder . . . just what it was that we were doing "up here."
But alas . . . it was a short-lived phenomenon.
On to more pictures.
